Terms of service
Effective date: 2026-10-15
1. The service
Gigcall is an offline-first scheduling application for touring and live-event production: a day sheet, running order, advancing, contacts, guest list, lodging and travel logistics, file attachments, and real-time sync with change alerts, offered by Yugwinderpal Singh ("Gigcall", "we", "us") through the App Store (and through Google Play once the Android app is released). These terms govern your use of the app and the backend service behind it. By creating an account or using Gigcall, you agree to them.
On iOS, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or for supporting it.
2. Accounts
You need an account, identified by an email address, to sync a tour across devices or to share it with other people. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us at gigcall01@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Subscriptions
Gigcall offers paid subscription plans (currently Solo, Team and Org — see the in-app paywall for current pricing and what each plan includes). Crew seats — being invited onto someone else's tour — are always free; only the manager who runs a tour's schedule needs a paid seat.
- Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by the App Store or Google Play, whichever store you subscribed through — not directly by us. Your payment details are held by Apple or Google, not by Gigcall.
- Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a one-month free trial of a paid plan (the App Store tells the app whether you are eligible), and each Apple ID can use a free trial only once. The trial turns into the paid plan, at the price shown when you start it, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, whichever you chose) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings — not inside Gigcall, because we cannot cancel a store subscription on your behalf. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for; it does not refund the remaining time.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. We cannot issue a refund directly.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices going forward; the store will notify you of any change and, where its rules require, ask you to accept it before it applies to your next renewal, per that store's own rules.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Because the store — not Gigcall — owns the billing relationship, you must cancel there first, or it keeps renewing and charging against an account that no longer exists. See Delete your account.
4. Acceptable use
Use Gigcall for its intended purpose: scheduling and coordinating touring and live-event work. Don't:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to store or share content you don't have the right to;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, tour, or to our systems;
- interfere with the service's operation (for example, by attempting to overwhelm it with automated requests);
- reverse-engineer the app except to the extent the law where you live gives you the right to.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section.
5. Your content
You own what you enter. Your tours, schedules, notes, contacts and files remain yours. By using Gigcall you grant us the limited license we need to store, sync, back up, and display that content back to you and to the people you invite onto a tour — and nothing more. We don't use your content to train models, sell it, or license it to anyone else.
Third-party data you enter. Some of what you type into Gigcall is about other people — a promoter's phone number, a venue contact's email. By entering it, you confirm you have the right to share that information with us and with the people you invite onto the tour for the purpose of running it. Don't enter sensitive personal data about a third party (health information, and the like) — Gigcall is built for ordinary production contact details, not sensitive categories of data.
You are responsible for your content. We don't review or moderate what you enter; you're responsible for making sure you have the right to store and share it through the service.
6. Availability
Gigcall is designed to work offline, and syncing depends on our backend being reachable, which we do not guarantee will be available without interruption. We're not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including outages of the third-party services we depend on (app stores, cloud hosting, push notification delivery).
7. Termination
You may stop using Gigcall, and delete your account, at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership of content, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law — continue to apply.
8. Disclaimers
Gigcall is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost — keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable (the app's "Export my data" feature makes this easy).
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yugwinderpal Singh will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Gigcall. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for our own gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where applicable law says so.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable consumer-protection law in your own country or state gives you additional rights that cannot be waived by agreement.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will change the effective date above when we do, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app or by email.
